Everglades is the swampland area in Florida that includes unusual wildlife that inhabits this place. There are also species such as egrets, rare orchids, alligators and panthers living in Everglades. Also huge amount of water reservation is located in the area that is now threatened because of the luck of money for its restoration. The federal project that was approved by the U.S. government in 2000 to save and protect the area that is getting smaller and smaller because of building of dikes, dams, and homes booming in Florida had to face difficulties and unpredictable situations that cut down finances intended for the restoring the swamps polluted by urban runoff and farm fertilizers. The problem means ecological disaster! Of course seven years ago Americans didn't have economical problems and national budget debts that make priorities different. American war in Iraq gobble crazy amount of money from federal treasury. Hurricane Katrina caused huge damages in the city of New Orleans that need to be rebuilt so people have place to stay. There are so many more important things to fix than saving swamps right now. Are the Everglades going to wait until government find the solution for everything else and then proceed to restoration? Are threatened native animal species going to be able to survive without federal help? How the things that exist only few years got the anterior position than the land that has been a part of Florida's wildlife for hundreds of years? Hope! That can be a motto for Everglades. Hope can bring old fame back into the swamps also in the world of everyday unexpected situations.

This week almost every family in the United States is going crazy. One of their most favourite holiday is coming. Thanksgiving. They are home with their families, watching TV, playing games, and what is very important & eating good meals. Their specialty is definitely thanksgiving turkey. 5.32 millions turkeys are killed every year, just to be dinner for American families. Can you imagine how many it is? They are sold on every corner of every street, and you have to hurry up to pick up the right one for you. But every year there are some lucky turkeys. There is a special ceremony in the White House, where the President of the United States gives presidential pardon to these two lucky turkeys. After this ceremony are the turkeys taken to farm, where they can live happily until the end of their natural life. They even have names. They were usually sent to big farm in state Virginia, but since 2005 they are sent to Disneyland in California or in Florida. So if you want to see these animal celebrities just go there It is not sure why was this ceremony found. First president who gave the pardon was the president Truman in 1947. Maybe he just liked animals or wanted to be popular. But it was really nice decision and I think other animals should get this pardon too.

EU talks tighter Budgets for Latvia, Bulgaria and Romania

The EU is not all honey for countries that do not keep up with their economic schedule. EU budget rules -- the Stability and Growth Pact -- say that during economic good times, countries that have not yet achieved their medium-term budget position should cut deficits by at least 0.5 percentage point a year until they reach the target. This is the case with Romania, Bulgaria and Latvia. Latvia has experienced during the last couple of years a phenomenon of economic heating with a 10 percent growth per year, which might prevent it from reaching its budgetary goals.
Bulgaria, which joined the EU in January with Romania, should try to achieve a higher budget surplus to contain macroeconomic risks from the country's ballooning current account deficit.

An attachable SD and MemoryStick card reader can also save video for use in the PSP portable game system or other video players. The i182 will be available this month for $229 at www.i-luv.com and in stores. It records at 640-by-480 pixel resolution for iPods and 720-by-480 pixel resolution for the PSP and other devices. The device can be set to stop recording at a preset time, so you can turn it on — at, say, the beginning of “Lost” — and let it record for later consumption.
The recordings are encoded specifically for each playback device and are immediately available once recording is complete.
Unfortunately, you still need to initiate the recording manually, so the iLuv i182 isn’t a replacement for a TiVo.
