Win-Win game for YouTube and BBC

It seems that the deal between BBC and YouTube turned out to be a success story for the both sides. BBC will gain access to the millions of users of YouTube and YouTube will share some of the legendary aura surrounding BBC. Moreover the BBC will be able from now on to closer peek into the habits of its viewers and adopt more appropriate marketing policies. It is great indeed to see venerable BBC coming out on the market with a fresh scent of digital broadcasting. BBC Director General Mark Thompson said the broadcaster hopes to drive extra traffic to its own Web site and bring in commercial revenue to supplement the license fee levied on British taxpayers.
"It's essential that the BBC embraces new ways of reaching wider audiences with non-exclusive partnerships such as these," he said.
