Aj ked vo svojej podnikatelskej kariere spravil rozne chyby, je vynimocnym strategom i tvorcom. Keby neskusil nieco vymysliet, nikdy by nevidel uspech alebo trhliny svojho vyrobku. Akokolvek, bol schopnym vytvorit a udrzat take imperium akym je Apple. V oblasti pocitacov zacal podnikat uz ako velmi mlady, mal vsak vizie a strategie do buducnosti. Je nepredvidatelnym a agresivnym hracom, ktory zije pre svoje napady. Je inovativnym a nebojacnym riaditelom jeho celozivotneho dietata Apple, ktore vybudoval od hora az dolu. Priklad si berie z rady, ktoru mu niekto dal uz velmi davno: "Zmenezuj najskor vrchnu vrstvu, ktora predstavuje tvoju strategiu, tvojich ludi a tvoje produkty a spodna ju bude nasledovat." Dalsi priklad jeho podnikatelskych pravidiel si zobral od skupiny Beatles, ktora produkovala dych vyrazajucu hudbu, aj ked nie vsetci jej clenovia boli taki dobri ako konecny hudobny vysledok. Jobs hovori, ze " vysledok je lepsi ako niektore jeho sucasti a velke veci v podnikani nemozu byt nikdy zrealizovane jednou osobou, su realizovane timom. To je strategia pre Apple, ktory ma svoje specialne miesto na svetovom technologickom trhu uz dlhe roky. Steve Jobs viac neskusa superit s Microsoftom; vytvara svoje vlastne vynimocne pristroje, akymi su iPod alebo najnovsi iPhone, ktore znamenaju revoluciu v pocitacovom priemysle. Ide svojou vlastnou cestou, presne tak, ako to robil vzdy a prave tato cesta ho urobila najuspesnejsim podnikatelom dnesneho sveta.

Big Frank

When you think about one of the biggest singers ever, who would it be? Elvis? Ok, he was great. Who else? Bono? Yea, he is great too. Next one. Frank Sinatra? This could be right. Why Frank? Because he was first, he was on the stage before all the other people, who are well known these days. He was the first big singer and actor, who was loved by millions of people, but also hated by the rest. Although he was handicapped, he had ruptured eardrum, he became musical and movie star. He started to sing in small music clubs and local radio stations. After few years, he got his first movie role. It was musical Ship Ahoy, but he wasn't named in the finishing captions. In the 1940s and 1950s. his carrier wasn't so successful. It changed after he got Oscar for his role in movie From here to eternity. It was war drama and he played supporting role. Other famous movies where he played were Manchurian Candidate and Von Ryan's Express in 1960s. His music carrier started to be popular again, and in this time he had many famous songs. He worked with many good musicians, who helped him to create this music and had duets with him. He had his big show in Las Vegas, where he was performing until his 80s. He died in 1998 in Los Angeles, with his fourth wife beside him.

Intelligence genes

The Institute of Psychiatry in London has just made public a new study they made on Intelligence genes. It will be published on the British weekly New Scientist as the Saturday's issue. The subject is very controversial and like always the intelligence genes are a subject of research, others like Harvard University's Howard Gardner and Steven Jay Gould have also approached it. As a research institution dedicated to discovering what causes mental health problems and diseases of the brain, the Institute of Psychiatry in London aims to help identify new treatments for them and ways to prevent them in the first place. The research the Institute has done is about the intelligence as a function of the way the brain is put together. 7,000 seven-year-olds were used for the study by scoring verbal and non-verbal reasoning tests in order to obtain the intelligence level. Also DNA samples from the children were took to identify genetic differences between the high and low scorers. According to the researcher that led the study, Robert Plomin of the Institute of Psychiatry in London, 37 variants in six genes were identified as playing an important part in differences in intelligence. Nevertheless, the study was not that easy to be conducted due to the fact that the individual effects of intelligence genes were barely detectable. Moreover, all put together they count only as one percent of the variation in intelligence between individuals. In related to previous studies made on twins and adopted children that suggest the variation of intelligence is due to upbringing and social factors, while others say that intelligence is inherited, this one shows that the genetic link to intelligence is extremely elusive. New York University psychologist Gary Marcus told the publication the only thing relevant is that in order to build a human brain; you need thousands of genes to work together. U.S. greenhouse gas emissions dropped in 2006

U.S., the biggest polluter in the world has dropped the gas emissions last year and plans to continue in this successful decrease. The greenhouse gas emissions lowered by 1.5 precent in 2006, "This puts us well ahead of the goal I set in 2002 to reduce greenhouse gas intensity by 18 percent by 2012," said the president of The United States of America, George Bush. Mr. Bush determined his main goal in the statement: "Our guiding principle is clear: we must lead the world to produce fewer greenhouse gas emissions, and we must do it in a way that does not undermine economic growth or prevent nations from delivering greater prosperity for their people." The statement is becoming true, even the economics of the states is flowering, the production of the greenhouse gas emission is lowered. Department of Energy said: "Favorable weather patterns, where both heating and cooling degree-days were lower in 2006 than 2005, and higher energy prices, were the primary causes of lower total energy consumption." Josh Dorner, a spokesman for Sierra Club, the group of environmental specialization, striked onto weather: "It would not be a good idea to put your bets on the weather as a way of reducing emissions." Mr. Bush will though do everything possible to fight against the greenhouse effect.

The Presidential Elections 2008 - more predictible?

Sunday January 27 & the day expected all over the world. The political race in Russia is running its last week before finalizing the list of candidates. Despite of being a native country of communism, the Election 2008, scheduled to be held on March 2 may bring to Russia a one side looking contest. The present candidates Andrey Bogdanov, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, Gennady Zyuganov, Mikhail Kasyanov and Dmitry Medvedev - do all of them stand a chance to be on the list? According to the opinion polls published on Tuesday by pollster VTSIOM, Dmitry Medvedev , a 42 years old Kremlin-backed candidate supported by incumbent president Vladimir Putin had more than 60 percent support, while Gennagy Zyuganov, the head of Communist party had only 6.1 percent. Zuyganov , whose campaign called for re-nationalisation of natural resources and the re-instalment of the death, has repeatedly complained about a pro-Kremlin slant in coverage on the main television stations. As Viadomosti newspapers claimed, he was seriously thinking of giving up the race. His weak appearances in this elections, may later leave him ambiguous and vulnerable to maintain a position of a head of Communistic party. Vladimir Zhirinovsky, nationalist Deputy Speaker of the State Duma and leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia had a support of 7.5 percent in the last poll. Ex-prime minister Mikhail Kasayanov's rates points to the only one percent as well as the fifth candidate, the leader of the Democratic Party of Russia, Andrei Bogdanov.

Za poslednych par tyzdnov sa vyskytol ostry pokles na globalnom ekonomickom trhu, co sposobilo velky tlak na lokalne ekonomicke trhy. Je to urcite Newyorska burza. Ak poviete slovo burza, prve co vam napadne je jej budova v New Yorku. Velka, stara budova so stlpami na prieceli. Po jedenastom septembri je na nich obrovska americka vlajka. Nenapadnu vas burzy v Londyne, Tokiu alebo v Bombaji. Ano, aj tieto su dolezite, niektore su dokonca aj mocnejsie a vacsie, ale stale nie su take slavne ako ta newyorska. Takze ako to zacalo? Prva originalna burza v New Yorku bola, a stale aj je, na Wall Street, ktora je mimochodom znama ako jedna z najbohatsich ulic na svete. Kazda mocna a dobra firma ma svoje sidlo prave tu. Takze prva burza zacinala s 24 maklermi a v tom case sa volala New York Stock and Exchange Board. Trosku dlhe, nemyslite? Museli si prenajimat priestory za 200$, a po velkom poziari v meste bola prestahovana do docasnych priestorov. Vtedy si zmenili meno na terajsiu Newyorsku burzu. Ta sa vsak stale rozrastala, takze potrebovali vacsie miesto, aby boli schopni pracovat, tak sa rozhodli postavit novu budovu. Nova, a teraz tak slavna, budova bola otvorena v roku 1901. Bolo to jedno z najvacsich miest v New Yorku. Nejake budovy a podlazia boli pridane neskor, posledne v roku 2000, a niektore obchodovacie casti boli zatvorene, kvoli narastu elektronickeho obchodovania. V roku 1978 bola hlavna budova zapisana do zoznamu Narodnych historickych pamiatok, ktory obsahuje budovy, stavby a ine objekty, ktore su dolezite alebo zname z historickeho hladiska.
